Director of Music
Benson Choral Society (BCS) is seeking to appoint a new Director of Music, to start in September 2025. We are looking for an experienced professional choral conductor and vocal coach to build on our reputation and take our enthusiastic and well-regarded choir on to the next level.
BCS is a non-auditioned SATB choir of over 100 singers, performing three concerts per year with professional instrumentalists and soloists, as well as occasional choral workshops. Whilst the standard classics of the choral repertoire are at our core, we also enjoy the challenge of less well-known works and existing and commissioned works by contemporary composers. We rehearse weekly, on Tuesday evenings in Wallingford with a professional accompanist.
